Interesting. Thanks, I hadn't seen that thread with the grounding mod, and if there was something preventative that could keep me from having to send the unit away for repair that would be great. I drive my car every day. I do keep the battery fresh because the car hasn't done well with an aging battery, but I will check those fuses and potential battery-related vulnerabilities.
And thanks too for all your work and help in the forum more generally. This forum has let me keep my crossfire much longer than I would have been able to if I was having to go through a nightmare with a mechanic who had never seen the car before every time something went wrong.
