Picked up this unique ride which dovetails well in similar interests enjoyed by my 2005 Crossfire SRT-6 "Blue" - but different in a lot of ways too. 2005 Cadillac XLR.

While you would think both cars should be very similar, in their ride, handling/power curve, etc., they are actually vastly different. While the XLR is not much bigger or heavier than the Crossfire, it feels like a big convertible from the 1950's and certainly has that solid/silent Cadillac ride and certainly as quick due to similar torque ratings, even if less horsepower than the SRT-6.

Named this one "Ruby" for obvious reasons. I need to get a shot of them together in one photo, side by side.

When you think about it, 2005 was a really good year for cars - maybe one of the best years for cars in the last 20 years.
