Any high mileage car is going to need work. No matter how well someone maintains a car, there is always that possibility you're stepping into a money pit. Hoses, clamps, fluids, relays and more become brittle and break/bust. My advice would be to find out if this car has service records and fully inspect it as best as possible before buying it.
