The battery ended up being bad so replaced with new battery.. Now when I turn the key dash warning lights come on but nothing happens when I
turn the key no click no nothing. Any advice nearest repair facility is 80 miles away. From reading this post you can tell I'm not much of mechanic.

Thank you

Now, wait. Was the charger connected to the battery? Or was the charger connected to the battery AND the car?

YOu ruined the battery, buy you know that. If you left the charger on and zapped the battery like that connnected to the car, then eventually, you ended up with reverse voltage on the entire wiring harness - not a good thing, cause a few items are connected to power even with the key off.

Having said the above, try this:

FIRST:
With a good, strong battery, put key in, turn to ON.
Wait 45 seconds.
Does engine fan come up to high speed? If so, the RCM is likely bad, it is not powering the ECU but the key IS powering the fan module, this is a common failure of RCMs and is easy to fix.

If the fan does NOT come up to high speed, then we have more work to do.

SECOND:
When you turn the key ON, do you hear the Throttle body (back of engine on top) go click-click, whirrrrr, clickty-click?
You CERTAINLY SHOULD hear that.
