At the risk of going very off-topic...

• I managed to get the boot/trunk unlocked and opened using the method for the UK model brilliantly described by Haydn.
• I now have an issue where the convertible top (which has been manhandled into various positions) is closed - apart from the rear bow latch, which is not engaged. Pressing the button for roof up and roof down achieves nothing except for an audible 'beep beep beep' and no discernible movement of any sort.
• Additionally, something mysterious unbeknownst to me has raised the rear aerofoil at some stage in events. Pressing the button to lower it is equally futile, as it's stubbornly determined to remain where it is.

I have read various posts about 'resetting' the position of the top to resolve similar issues, but there doesn't seem to be anything written that is definitive and that has been confirmed as solving the issue.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated... I am on the edge of absolute despair and surrender!!
