For others reading this thread - pay attention to what he said: His new battery (one year old is NEW to most of us) was crap. This happens more and more, and has happened to me.
DO NOT skip over something just cause it's new. If all indications point to it, then consider that the "new" part is the issue.

I mean, we all know how many new Crank Sensors are crap, dont we?
