Ok but that may be only a temporary option. The number of factory head units failing is going up and up as time goes by. Don't spend too much money on making the current head work, as you may, any day now, have a failing head.
I've owned three Roadsters, last two got new JVC or Kenwood heads because the old factory units failed.


And a new head gives you a chance to go four channel (the stop amp is four channel, but the stock head is two channel, which is such a waste, IMO.)
