As for the ABS sensors, I cannot imagine that you will get the ESP to play nice splicing the signal wires in. It might work, but I sincerely doubt it. The ESP is one of the "smarter" modules in the car, and being safety related, it will trip a fault code over the most minor issue. As Mark said, if you do it, make sure to unplug the rear sensors.
Separately, please do post up pics of this swap. This kind of mixing of parts and fabrication is right up my alley, so I'd like to see how you approached it. Thanks!
sorry for the long response time at this point i have differential cradle fabricated and differential fitted nicely one piece driveshaft - had to use the charger=300 rwd 110mm companion yoke on transmission crossfire is 100mm it was a direct bolt on . the comaro- GTO uses the same 110mm 3 bolt flange and same pilot shaft size- adapter to U-joint again bolt on differential was out of 2121 S550 mustang 3:55 LSD 3000 mi it also used adapter to u-joint bolt on then had 3" drive shaft with slip joint made joint to joint CL 40" / Im still in the process with DDS ABS rings or not ? bill
