Gently pull the ***** off with a pair of pliers (I have a spring-loaded pair that applies only enough pressure to hold onto). I would recommend a 2-step repaint: 1) Spray both ***** with a Pain Adhesion compound so the paint will adhere to the plastic; 2) Then get a spray can of Chrysler Bright Silver for final coat.
