The garage door opener is where the TPMS module is located. So you just have a hole in your headliner? The parasitic drain is most likely the alarm siren location inside the cowl, disconnect it and see if the drain disappears.

hanks for the tip. I disconnected the siren under the cowl as yo suggested and the battery drain is gone.
