i was able to remove the mounting button by twisting it a bit and it pulled. Now I need to reattach it to the windshield.
I’m leaning towards clear JB Weld but wondering what windshield replacement shops use.
Whatever brand that you use, make SURE you have both surfaces completely clean of the prior fastener. Also, be sure to have the mount positioned correctly (in case it is supposed to be in a certain direction relative to horizontal).. Let us know how it works out? Good luck!
