Ronmad there is a PDF file in the electric section of onehundred80 "Index of Crossfire problems and repairs" where you cut the siren open and replace the internal batteries. That is dependent on the circuit board being good and not damaged by corrosion. Click here for listing:

My internals are ruined from battery leakage. Be nice if some enterprising person could / would come up with a retrofit for the siren! I'm sure there are a lot of Crossfire owners out there that would be willing to spend for a reasonable priced plug and play siren.
