Good news, I fixed it! It was the relay that was the problem, and I repaired it without having to locate a replacement. I cleaned the contacts on the relay socket and gave the relay a few taps and nothing changed.
I then took the relay out and removed the cover and sprayed it with electric contact cleaner and replaced it, it worked 1 time only. I removed it again and took the cover off again and did a thorough inspection. I noticed that the flat piece that hinges and has the 2 contacts at the top were not on the same plane, so the one for the drivers side would close and light up, the contact for the passenger side was bent just enough to keep it from making contact, so a little bending with a small metal pick and my finger made it even with the other side and now it operates flawlessly!

That's great that you got it to work again! Especially since you were able to do it without even replacing it.
