My 2006 Limited ignition key assembly is currently working just fine, but I'm considering preventative surgery to avoid getting stung by "sticky key" issues. I've noted on some of the great how-tos available here that "some" 2006 models may have an updated key assembly that eliminates the chance of sticky key. Is there a way to tell via vin number if my 2006 has the modified part? Perhaps by manufacture date? If I can avoid standing on my head for this fix, I'd be very appreciative. Thanks for your help!
