It may be too late to reset the lamp IF the connector was not set correctly & the fault set in the ORC & lit the lamp (partially open with non-connecting pins or opened while battery was still connected, etc.). Once this condition is set, the reset procedure MUST be used (or one of the 'found' OBD' readers that do reset the lamp, used). Good luck!
