I had bought a new gas cap and it's causing the gas light to flash and the check engine light to come on. Luckily I kept the original. Since I've put it on there have been no warning lights.
I would like to replace the original with a good quality cap. I've looked through the MoPar/Mercedes-Benz cross reference with no luck. I've searched the posts with no luck.
Does anyone know if this one will fit? Thanks in advance for any help.

I bought a replacement cap using the SLK-320 vehicle reference part source. Happened too long ago so I do not know where I got it (the plastic cord broke so I ordered one). I don't know how much the OEM is marked up but it is all up to you. No code, lamp, flashing light, trouble lamp, code (that I know of), or anything else especially a loss of performance or stumble. My new one has no plastic cord so it isn't distracting with that old broken tether mounted on the cover (where the cap holder is). Yes, I removed the broken tether cord left on the cover. Good luck!
