Yeah, that module look fried. When you get a replacement, also get the harness with about 24-36 inches of wire with it (as water sucks up into the wires and it will cause problems down the road).

Water does not wick up the wire as they are extruded together when the plastic shrinks it grips the wire.
The problem is corrosion on the original plugs.
