Honestly, I'd rather chase an electrical problem than a squeak. My Ford Ranger developed a noise in the cabin. The ONLY way I could get rid of it was by removing a piece of plastic behind the passenger kickpanel near the fuse box. The noise was coming from way behind it, by removing the part, it apparently allowed something behind it to loosen up enough that two *somethings* stopped rubbing one another.
