Do you mean the the piston rams? The shiny part that goes in and out of the cylinder?
I'm not an expert but, I wouldn't recommend that in my opinion. I'm assuming they are self lubricating. Each time they retract I would think they would get coated in hydraulic fluid. The seal prevents the fluid from coming back out, but there has to be a tiny amount on the arms.
I would think that adding grease could contaminate the hydraulic fluid.
This is just a guess on my part. Hopefully someone with better knowledge of these will provide a better answer.
