Resurrecting this post since I just replaced the rear bulbs with LED on my convertible. Raising the top and wait till the rear hard panel is vertical worked. Un plug the wiring harness and slide the plug down to remove and give you enough wiring access. replace all 3 bulbs, slide the plug back up and plug in the harness.
