Here's the page out of a 2007 Owner's Manual that covers this dash warning light.



Like pizzaguy stated earlier, I also only put 8 quarts in during an oil change (just did one last week). I tried to put 8 liters (8.45 qts) in when I did my 1st oil change. The Oil Level HI Warning Light came on when I drove the 'twisties' in & around The Dragon in Fontana, NC. Siphoned out about a 1/2 qt when I got home - no more warning light. Convinced me!
