The tops area bout 20 years old now. You can get a new BAS top for about $800.00 it's just like the original. My car has an EZ ON top.
The window on mine is sewn in, not glued. I don't know what the EZ ON costs, mine was replaced before I bought it.
Best of luck with whatever you decide to do.
I second this. A lot of folks on the forum don't like to listen nor hear the news but you have an 18+ year old ragtop. IT IS TIME TO REPLACE. EZ-On tops are great but a little bit more pricey than the UK based company BAS that have sold hundreds, maybe thousands of tops to our community with great success.
EZ-On runs you around $1400 whereas BAS has it for sale at $800 incl. shipping and if you ask nicely maybe you will get a forum discount LOL.
Either way, the install is relatively easy to do it yourself. If you have Facebook, I bet there is a nice Facebook member somewhere nearby who would like to help you if you needed assistance. I's easier if two people, but also doable if just by yourself. There are two really really good videos on Youtube for step by step.

Or you can NOT listen and take a looong time (longer than replacing the top) and glue the window back in so it can fall back out within a short period. But as always, choices in life...
