Default Re: Fuel system lean and Intake manifold runner

TY again for the friendly replies. Since you emphaticlly told me to "Buy it!" for $300 'to solve my issue' I thought you could answer my questions about it. Sorry. Hours spent reading all I could find on the issue, and related, all revolved around the MAF sensor, etc. I removed the MAF and cleaned everything with throttle body cleaner, reassembled, and cleared the codes. The K&N air filters are in great shape. Seems to have solved the issue, so far anyway. Last time I just cleared the codes and they came right back, so this is a positive. Perhaps the engine cowl rubber seal around the MAF was not properly sealed. The MAF had a lot of black soot. Perhaps time for a complete engine compartment cleaning. DIY on Crossfires seems to be largely a self-research, self-taught learning experience. Oh, and complete SDS systems and Xentry are still sold online, but I don't know much about them. Thanks for taking the time to help.
