Good job catching that. I've had old trailer tires come apart at speed. That could at a minimum tear up the fenders or liners, or cause you to lose control.
That's exactly what I'm worried about. I don't want to be cruising at speed and lose a tire if it can be avoided. Especially since I'll be heading out to Ohio in October.
