Power Tour was a lot of fun. It was a bucket list item for me and since it was the 30th anniversary, I decided to give it a shot. Lots of great cars and trucks attended 6-7k cars were said to be in attendance. The venues were fun for the most part and everyone was very courteous. The added traffic did mean longer travel times in some instances.
The cupholders have been great. I didn't use my center console for much storage. It isn't my daily driver, so most things fit nicely in the glovebox or the hatch. My biggest issue is that it isn't as easy to grab drinks when you are driving alone since they are beside/behind you. It's not a stick-shift car, so it's not that big a deal. Your solution looks like another good option for 2 drinks.
