My car had developed an annoying squeak on rear driver side. I final fixed it today. Replaced the the rear Control Arm Bushing. Need to do the other side to but man was it a pain.
If the left one was degraded the right one should be replaced. Now that you know what and how to do it, you probably would be able to do the passenger side more quickly. Afterwards you can reward yourself by the amount of monies you saved by a DIY project (am guessing it would have been very expensive to have someone else replace them?). Good luck!
