Hints on replacing alternator.
Pizzaguy says it can be done from top by rotating it. I didn't have much luck, but took it out from the bottom.
Remove fan. It provides easier access.
Remove serpentine belt by putting 17mm socket on bolt on tensioner.
Once you remove old alternator, push out the bushings a little making it easier to install new alternator.
