Replacing Alternator
I need to replace my alternator.
I am somewhat limited as I am recovering from a broken hip which limits my mobility.
First problem was the tension pully didn't want to move to loosen Vbelt.. Finally after much struggling I got it off, but will probably have to troubleshoot the tensioner.
Second problem; got the two bolts holding the alternator but doesn't seem to be room to remove it. Does it have to come out from the bottom?
Searched the threads for 430 minutes but could ot find this addressed.

You remove the bolts and 'rotate' the alternator counterclockwise (more or less) and work it out of the arms holding it.
You then kinda spin it over such that the pulley is facing downward and remove the plug and cable from behind and THEN work it around and get it out by moving it directly forward towards the radiator.
I don't know if you can do this from below, but I cant, as I have not lift. I"ve replaced my alternator four times in five years (DO NOT get an Alternator from NAPA, their rebuilds are awful).

Hints on replacing alternator.
Pizzaguy says it can be done from top by rotating it. I didn't have much luck, but took it out from the bottom.
Remove fan. It provides easier access.
Remove serpentine belt by putting 17mm socket on bolt on tensioner.
Once you remove old alternator, push out the bushings a little making it easier to install new alternator.
Thank you, Pizzaguy for many of these hints.
