That is a good thought. There was a time back about 10 years when you could get a virgin SKREEM and have it programed for your car; You could put it in a drawer, holding on to it for feature use.
That Chrysler Corp. no longer exist; The current "Chrysler" does not support the Crossfire, nor does Mercedes as the electronics on our cars is a hybrid and their manufactures scan tools will not work on all issues with the Crossfire. I have such a SKREEM pre-programed for my Limited just in case. Bought it from Needswings years ago.
You could contact him and see if he may just have one and could get it programed for your car, but I really doubt it. If the SKREEM goes out now Needswings or the Mercedes Speed shop is the place to go to get repairs/flashing/programing done to your system, but you will likely need to send them the SKREEM and the PCM from
your car so they can effect repairs. Both can also help with FOB/key problems.
