Thanks for all the assistance and any info you can provide.
I recently bought a 2005 Limited convertible. I changed out a broken original(worked fine but then end was broken off) fob and recently I have started to have intermittent start stop Skreem symptoms. I do the two starts/dies then third time it wont even turn over. But I then wait 3 or so minutes and it starts right up. This happened this morning. First start Skreem symptoms then i waited 3 minutes or so and it started up and drove just fine., I then drove around making 4 errands where i turned off the Crossfire and it started up fine each time without Skreem symptoms. Do you have any data on whether this is a bad Skreem or RCM. If its an RCM issue I would love to have you repair it, however right now its my only car. Do you have refurbished unit that I can pay for have you ship to me in La Quinta, Ca. then I can send you my unit. Its not a big deal but 5 days without a car would be a hassle. Id probably pay for overnight to you to cut down the time. I would appreciate any information or assistance.
You can get a spare RCM off of amazon to use while your original is out for repairs. It's good to keep a spare in the trunk. Also a spare Crankshaft position sensor (BOSCH only). And a metric tool set.
