The brake fluid was changed 7,700 miles back; and shouldn't need to change again so soon, correct? Brakes have never been replaced. Front rotors shiny and smooth (no grooves) and have "lips" at edges. Rear rotors not shiny but are smooth with less prominent "lips" at edges. Perhaps we should wait for respective warning light before replacing brakes?

Car has just over 48,000 miles.
