(the vehicle has less than a total of 30k miles). I noticed a drip of oil hanging on the passenger side rubber valve cover near the bolt just abover the alternator. Does anyone have an opinion on just re-tightening the fasteners to spec about 7 ft lbs. Does anyone know the sequence to tightnen the bolts. ? Thank you in advance
Yes you can try to re-torque the valve cover bolts to 7 foot pounds.
Also check to make sure there's no oil leaking from the breather cover gaskets onto the valve covers.
