Small Drip Leak Passenger Side Valve Cover
I have purchased a 2006 Chrysler Crossfire-Limited Roadster. The previous owner out of South Carolina had recently replaced the valve cover in the last couple of years probably less than 4k miles. (the vehicle has less than a total of 30k miles). I noticed a drip of oil hanging on the passenger side rubber valve cover near the bolt just abover the alternator. Does anyone have an opinion on just re-tightening the fasteners to spec about 7 ft lbs. Does anyone know the sequence to tightnen the bolts. ? Thank you in advance

Also check to make sure there's no oil leaking from the breather cover gaskets onto the valve covers.
Here is a picture from a post I did with the correct sequence.
You can find the entire post with replacing the valve cover gaskets, breather cover gaskets etc... at this link: Valve covers, breather gaskets and more
I check the torque settings on the valve cover screws every 2 years. When I did the Crankcase Breather Covers repair work several years ago, I found all the valve cover screws somewhat loose. I re-torqued them all to spec. And so far, I've never had to install new valve cover gaskets on my 2007 Coupe.
