I'm 2 weeks new to the CF community and pleased to have my new 2005 Limited running again after Josh at MERCEDESSWAPSHOP repaired my SKREEM. Yesterday though I was dismayed when again my CF was experiencing the dreaded two 1 second starts. Thinking maybe my SKREEM had failed, I contacted Josh. He quickly replied and instructed me to disconnect the ALARM (which hadn't been working anyway!). Sure enough, my CF started and ran normally. I'm wondering if it's even needed or worth replacing the alarm. Any thoughts? BTW Huge kudos to Josh at MERCEDESSWAPSHOP - again!
