Okay, now you're getting somewhere - the ecu now knows what gear you're in and it's getting power. Your brake switch is working since the SLA allows you to shift it. Having to remove the key after one start attempt is normal - at least that's how it works on both the crossfires I have. The RCM still could be your issue. Again, check the battery voltage and the fuses. Does the fuel pump go when you turn the key to on? Sometimes the pulse module goes bad (it has some relays in it like the RCM) or the grounds get loose. Double check if all of your connectors, especially on the RCM and ECU are seated correctly. Check the DTC codes again to see if anything new has popped up. I doubt it's your starter, but you can check by jumping the pulse module. (There's also the possibility that it's your ECU - if you search for a forum member named 1sweetride, his ECU went out and had similar symptoms, but lets hope not.)

The RCM was the first thing I had fixed, I sent it to DJ in Arizona from here in the forumn. He tests them in his cars after repair before sending them back out so the RCM *should* be good. I will check connections and battery tonight and listen for the fuel pump as well.
