Correction, the locking mechanisms work fine. The real problem lies in the position switch of the decklid. Position of the trunk is stuck at open. Can't really find it in the diagrams but from what I've read on the convertible top sensor forum that the position switch may be internal. Still curious about what that loose connector may be. Nearly there.
