The mechanic removed my radio fuse to stop it from draining the battery. Note the radio works fine.

The stereo shop told me it is a sign the radio is kaput and can not be fixed. I am skeptical.

I am preparing to sell my car and all i want is for the radio to work and not drain the battery. Any suggestions?
