Question Tips? - Preparation for Road Course Lapping

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to take my 2004 Chrysler Crossfire to the road course for some lapping sessions. I’m not aiming to set fast lap times—just want to enjoy the experience and make sure the car can reliably complete each 20-minute session without issues.

So far, I know I’ll need to upgrade or check:
  • Tires
  • Brake pads
  • Engine oil
  • Brake fluid

Are there any other essentials you'd recommend for a reliable and safe track day? Cooling? Suspension tweaks? Any weak points on the Crossfire I should watch out for?

Appreciate any tips or advice from others who’ve tracked their Crossfires (or SLK320s)!

Thanks in advance!
