Q?= would this be an average or below for a 98,000 mile '05' Xfire ? She runs sweet but, as yet i havn't heard that kool throb from the exhaust so maybe someones changed and quietened down from the original ex system.a lotta surface RUST underneath,to be cleaned up and then Duck-oiled or Undersealed. ALSO have new rubber bushes on way to fit as I don't seem to have much ride comfort (just a little too rigidly bumpy for me). She sailed thru our MOT TEST with only a couple of ADVISORIES, 1 coil spring corroded, Park brake needs adjusting and mentioned the underneath Surface RUST ASWELL!!. Have all new brake pads on way to fit, also calipers to re-furbish using Copper grease and Red Rubber grease on the boots for weatherproofing, as I don"t want any more RUST in the lower regions. Any and all other Care Advices are welcome.Happy Days All, CHEERZ !!

There's a lot of good information on this forum and many helpful people. If you're interested, I've been doing a thread about my car with tons of maintenance posts.
As I work on my car, I make a post with detailed pictures and captions. You can also use the search bar in the upper corner to find help with almost anything for your car.
Here's the link to my thread:
