Thanks for the response about not being able to do this manually (put up/down) when the car is running - confirms my experience.

When I was looking at a troubleshooting post about the top sensors - it claimed (or I read) that sometimes you can get it working by putting it up/down several times while it’s running. That the system kind of watched and then it might work. I’ll have to reread that long post again!
