The starter would not engage so you changed the fuel pump? WHY?
If the starter won't engage, the next time it does that, do this:
Turn key to START and observe the starter does not engage.
Relase key to ON.
Wait 30 seconds.
Is the engine fan turning fast? If so, put in your spare RCM, send your bad one to DJ for him to rework.*
If you don't have a spare RCM, order one today. I do not drive my car without a spare RCM - they fail OFTEN, they plug in without tools, and they cost less than two new tires.
*If the engine fan did not turn fast, we have more investigating to do here. But we can deal with that once we hear back from you.
