Hi George,
If you are going to replace the RCM, here's a post on how I did mine.
This may be helpful if you have never done it before or are not familiar with it's location. LINK to RCM replacement
NOTE: you don't have to disconnect the battery to do it. That's just something that I chose to do.
As pizzaguy said you should always have a spare. I sent my original to tighed1 to be rebuilt, while I used my spare until the original was done.
