I was too!
So, my VERY skilled mechanic friend put them on for me, and it was a really really tough job…Which is annoying because they advertise as a super easy bolt on job. (These are custom for the Crossfire, not universal). So that was frustrating.

They take some getting used to, you need to open them out all the way and then push them up, which feels awkward at first but is super easy. They are hard to pull back down as the gas shocks hold them in place. I’ve only had them on for a day or so and I’m already getting used to them, though.

All in all, if I had known the hassle it was going to be, I wouldn’t have done it. But I really really enjoy them so far. They function and close perfectly and are a great attention getter.

Absolutely no regrets!
