I could not find a valve cover leak until I added dye to the oil and made my shop totally dark, except for the UV light ... that's when we found glowing dye around both valve covers ... if I had only listened to the voices of experience earlier
after replacing both valve cover gaskets and driving the car three days, the under shield appears to be dry ...
I do appreciate the help from everyone and learned to pay more attention to those that know what they know ... final fix was to replace the oil pan gasket and both valve cover gaskets and seal both breathers ... Thank you, Chuck
