My wife got a better look at than I did, she thought the bottom of the front end looked different than mine so I figured it was an SRT. My bad. It's been a beautiful day here, I seen a number of people cruising in their toys. It's getting to be that time of year when you know your cruising days will end because of the weather.

A lot of them in So Cal but I quite posting the sightings after three years because no one ever spoke up. I have recommended this sight many times though.

Saw a very nice, ruby red roadster in Windsor Vt. today around noon. Their top was down, and so was mine. Beautiful fall day here, 65 deg. I don't think they saw me. I didn't notice the plate.

I now know where the Cruise in is (2nd Saturday at Lowe's at the Rim). I know what a GTG is. I know why people missed the first GTG I went to. I even know how to become a senior member.

It all takes a while, but is worth it.

I've only stopped to visit 2 crossfires while out and about. One was polite, but acted like he wanted me gone: I think he was dealing drugs. The other took several minutes to realize that I, too, was driving a Crossfire. Too long, so I drove off. Mostly it is not convenient to visit while driving. Bill is right! The best way to meet other Crossfires is the GTG's! Join us for one, and you'll be able to sit in judgement of those of us who don't show: We DO talk smack!

My sister sent me this pic today as they traveled to Tucson for a camping vacation.
Photo taken today at 10:20am on I-10 west about 124 miles east of Tucson.

Anyone recognize this car / plate from California ??

I have seen nine different Crossfires in the Muscle Shoals area, (also some several times). I wave or blow my horn and they respond but that's about it. Most are passing so there is no chance to talk. I have seen some parked, and thought about leaving a note, but what to say? I wish we could get together, nine or more would be a good group. An idea, this forum could design a note announcing this forum. I could print it out and put it on parked Crossfires, or do you already do that?

Spotted a MO plated alabaster '04 today behind me in Wentzville MO. She pulled alongside at the next stop light.

"120,000 miles on my '04 six speed." came out of the window from a lovely and very proud lady. "These are great cars."

An obvious fan,. In what little time we had before the light changed, told herabout the Forum. Hope she gets on.

hokkabaz:

What letter was missing off the XF. Maybe they would joint the Forum if you helped them fix the missing letter. I have most of them, would be glad to help them out. Need an address and phone number and which letter is missing. I can send another with new adhesive ready to install. They need to clean the spot where it will mount and put a line of painters tape above and below to act as a mounting guide. PM me with info if you want to get the letter or have them contact me.

Saw a N/A Graphite yesterday (Feb 28) in Derby, KS at the QuikTrip on 63rd and Rock Road at about 4:15 PM. He was getting gas and was most likely coming from the air base (McConnell) since he was in full fatigues.

I seldom see xf's here in Northern California. But today I spotted two! Aero blue limited roadster parked near the Copperopolis Fire Dept. ( folks, this town is as small as they come..) Later on, a silver roadster way at the top of the mountain where my brother lives near Tuolumne. Weird I say...

I live in a "suburb" of a small town (pop 23000) in southern Oregon. I bought my SRT 6 less than a month ago. A neighbor a few houses away just bought a black limited roadster from his sister who bought it new in '05. Go figure. And this after I had told my neighbors that Crossfires were exceedingly rare!

It finally happened - I finally saw another SRT6 on the road around here. Heading south on I-235 today around 3:30, I rolled up behind an SSB (I think - it was pretty dirty) and followed him for a bit, then pulled up next to him. Gave him a wave, he returned a head nod and took the next exit. What makes it better is I was finally in my 6 when I saw another one - maybe he's on here?
