Wasn't me... HOWEVER... I went past your house Thurs. night. I was on Rt31., went past Crystal Lake Ave. at about 7:30 pm and again at 9:00 pm. I honked. Did you hear me?

LOL, you will have to be further west for me to hear you honk.

I was in your neighborhood last Saturday. Honked as well from I-55.

I spotted a graphite XF coupe down town Crystal Lake, The license plate spelled BOOMER. So I checked the forum for a member with that user ID, and I found he is a registered member, but has not participated since June, 2004. Do any of you veterans remember this guy. He also lives in Crystal Lake, Illinois.

Very correct...but I am in (from, raised in, live in, proud of) the Midwest (the beautiful and affordable Midwest, the part of the country with good work ethic...oh wait, should this be in the politics section...I'll let you decide) and I thought I mentioned I was in Ireland on Spring break...plus, I didn't see and Irish forum).

Whoa! I've seen 2 Crossfires in 24 hours - which is an extreme rarity for Mid-Michigan:

1. Sapphire Silver Blue Limited Roadster (with the top down) at Arby's on corner of Tittabawassee Rd. and Bay Rd. in Saginaw, MI. May 9th around 6:30 pm.

2. Base Roadster (with the top up) on M-47 at Freeland Rd. intersection heading toward Midland. May 10th around 7:30 am.

Also, a couple of weeks ago I saw an Aero Blue Limited Roadster (with the top down) in Bay City - on Euclid Ave.

Anyone on here?

Hmmm. Crossfire Sightings are on a tremendous rise here in Mid-Michigan.
Saw a gray Limited Roadster on Saginaw Rd. in Midland today around 4:30 pm. Anybody on here (probably not, but worth a shot)?

Cool Re: Crossfire Sightings

I am starting to see more and more XFires on the road in my area. Just yesterday I saw 3, a graphite Coupe pulled up next to me and we each gave the thumbs up. Saw 2 Roadsters (White and Yellow) on Interstate 64 going toward Powhite Pkwy, any one here?

Saw a Slate Coupe on Oakton in Skokie last night on the way home plowing through the construction zone at about 10 MPH with the wing up. Wing up at 10? Hope the down force helped.

I was outside of Detroit today (Livonia) and didn't see one Crossfire to and from.

Seems that everyone was driving a Hummer H3, Pontiac Solstice (no GXPs), or the new Lexus LS (which is quite the automobile IMO).

Speaking of Solstices - OMG - THEY'RE EVERYWHERE up here. I can't run to Taco Bell without seeing at least 3-5. A good bit of Saturn Skys too, but not near as many as the Solstices.

I went to church today and was running just a bit late, so I know it would be hard to find a good parking spot. Wouldn't you know it, there was an empty spot right next to a black SRT roadster with the top down. I have been going to St. Thomas Catholic church in Crystal Lake for 14 years, and have never seen a Crossfire there. I met the guy as we were leaving, and chatted for a while. I told him about the forum, so he should be registering soon. He bought his in January, 2005 and has had it since, but stores it in the winter. Nice to have a local XF bud.

I guess "GOD" decided to bring you together in his parking lot. How cool is that. Did you get his VIN number for RPM.

No, I didn't think about asking, but if he joins I'm sure he will provide his number. He seemed interested in some of my mods.

Took a drive down to South Coast Plaza where my sweetie got me a new Oceanus Chrono for Father's Day. This is one amazing watch Solar (never needs winding or batteries) and Atomic (keeps accurate time and gets periodic pings at least 5 times daily from the US Atomic closck in Fort Collins).

Very nice drive about 55 miles each way. I drive it often and rarely see another Xfire till today. During today's trip we encountered SIX Xfires!

Thumbs up Re: Crossfire Sightings

Went to a local produce place yesterday in Midland, MI and pulled in behind a Gray Limited Roadster.
I talked to the gentleman and we live in the same vicinity. I told him about the site - hopefully he will log on and join up.

I really need to make copies of the XFi card REDCROSS sends in the packet, or make up some. That way I could just hand a card out or leave it on their windshield (if they are not around).

Drove from MI to WV today (~ 8 hours).
Saw 3 Crossfires:
1. Red Coupe going South on 75, North of Motown.
2. Black Roadster going North on 75, North of Motown.
3. A spotless Gray Coupe on an 18 wheeler car hauler going to or coming from a car auction, again on 75.

I've been back in WV this week and I've seen 3 Crossfires.
1. Gray Coupe on Teays Valley Road in Teays Valley on Wednesday afternoon.
2. SSB Coupe going East on 64 near Charleston on Wednesday afternoon.
3. One of my old neighbors is driving a Black Limited Roadster in Winfield.

Anybody on here #1 or #2?

Drove back to MI from WV today.
Saw 3 more:
1. Gray SRT6 Coupe on 23 in Columbus (near the Olentangy section), around 1 pm.
2. Red Limited Roadster going South on 23 about an hour North of Columbus, around 2 - 3 pm.
3. A red Limited Coupe on a car hauler going South on 23.

Any takers for #'s 1 and 2?
