Went over to the Ft. Meyers house this weekend. (Minivan) The daughter and I went to see about trading in the Minivan as its lease expires in July. On the way back from Punta Gorda going Southbound on route 41 there was one of Florida's finest that had a black limited roadster pulled over. I would bet they were getting a speeding ticky. While we were sitting at Skyline Chili (back in FT Myers I saw a Saphire Blue roader going through Sam's parking lot. When we left there was a yellow roadster turning into Old Navy. It was a blond driving and I immediately thought of Sharon, but she lives up in Tampa.

That is more Xf's then I have seen in one day in Miami.

The light changed and he looked at me and then just drove away and left me standing in the street.
Don't take it personally VALKRYDERGUY...he probably thought you were a panhandler...

Aurora and Naperville are blissful suburbia but you have to understand that Downtown Chicago is notorious for the mentally unstable panhandlers. They come in all shapes, sizes, and colors so don't feel bad...

Ya That's sort of what I figured too. If I was in my Crossfire and someone approached me in Chicago I probably would have done the same thing. Although we were in a busy populated area.
I just posted the story as clearly as it occurred just in case the owner was a member here.
I then would have expected his feedback.

Skyline Chili - from here in Ohio - originally Cincinnati - you either love it (I do) or hate it....did not realize it had made its way to FL.

One of my beat partners hear in Knoxville, had the unfortunate task of arresting a crossfire owner for DUI the other night. driving under the influence kills 17,000 people a year in the U.S. alone. PLEASE DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE !

Tonight at 9:00 Auora,Illinois....I was leaving Fox Valley Mall outside the doors to Ruby Tuesday and saw a black Crossfire coupe driving in the parking lot. A man was driving in the car and drove right past me slowly as I was walking. I turned before he got to me and pointed to my Crossfire Logo on my custom jacket which I was wearing. He gave me a thumbs up as he passed by me only a couple feet away from me. He didn't stop or open his window at all as I was saying "Are you a member of the forum" I don't know if he heard me but was surprised he didn't stop for a moment . We were in a well lit area of the parking lot and close to the mall entrance.

I took some photos from the National bus, but a I still can't post pictures to the forum you'll have to take my word for it. I never knew that the Roadster was available in Black...I thought that was a coupe and base color only.

I didn't ask what the daily rate was, but my VP says next time to travel we'll check out the Crossfire. At National they are kept in a row on after the Executive line...so I imagine they carry a daily premium.
What better way to market a product than to create the virtual test drive made available through a rental agency. It's either smart marketing or desperation. Your choice.

In Michigan I see a lot of them but when I went down to the dragon on my bike last summer I diddnt see any all the way down and back.
here in Michigan just in my area black, white, red, and once in a while I see one just like mine on 696 going west. I like very much that the crossfire is a rare car. when I went to the auto show this year everyone looking at the Crossfire and yes there was one there to my suprise. where people who drove them most where lease or company cars. but we all love them

So I'm in DC this week. I have not seen a single Crossfire.
Lots of BMWs, MBs, Porsches, a Bentley, a Maybach, etc.
A few S63s, CLS63s - which sound AWESOME btw.

Hell, I haven't seen mine out from under it's cover since 10/1.

At least the cherry blossoms are in bloom.

I think in MI you see a lot more American "Brand" cars because of the auto companies. It's really weird when you leave the state and there are so many foreign cars.

I bet those Cherry Blossoms were awesome! Did you drive to DC?
I'm still waiting for the pond to thaw here Looks like spring may be around the corner here..........finally! Took mine out for the 1st time on the 2nd because there was a rain that washed most of the rain off the roads and it was sunny. Still too cold to put the top down, though.
