Ok If you have noit read that I stole my Xfire, then i can tell you it was the ride and most important the 2007 only had 7200 miles on it. The dealer made me a great price about 100 below Kelley Blue Book, and my wife enjoyed the 0-120 on the back road, yes my heart is still racing.

So enjoyed it so much, we are now a 2 Xfire family buying iour 2nd one, which is 2008 and only 6100 miles on it. soon she will be joining the C-I-I-C-I and we will be official.

So to put it all togehter it must have to be the new car smeill.......for both have it.

Since my other reply, my wife "blubird" decided to get one too. We looked and found a 2008 with 6200 miles in Casper WY. We had it shipped to Boise and now we are a "twofer" club members. We both love our cars.

My friend had a crossfire after I saw his car I fell in love with it after my there is a exam like SAT in Turkey I got a nice score on it and my school gave me half scholarship so I asked my father If he could buy me a car because he promissed me. So he asked for the choices they were Mini cooper s , Chrysler Crossfire, Honda S2000, Range Rover Vogue and Mercedes CLK 320. He is not interested in cars so he said that crossfire is really fast because its sporty looks ,S2000 is roadster something could happen to me in a accident, Range Rover and mercedes were too old for my age So he bougt me Mini cooper S after 5 months I crashed my Mini and totalded it Insurance bought my car and gave me money so I started to look for a car I saw my x fire and asked my father to buy it so he let me buy the car its been 3 months with my XF and I am really happy with it. I guess its like a love story hahah lol

We bought a new 2006 Charger SRT8 and took the SRT Track Experience. My wife and I raced every SRT vehicle and fell in love with the Crossfire. When we got back home in BC Canada we saw one driving around town and followed it. It was from a Chrysler dealership and for sale. We bought a 2005 SRT6 blue Roadster Areo Blue, with 13,000 Kilometers(8077 miles) on it. It was previously owned and driven by a Chysler Canada Engineer. We bought it just to travel with and have driven it alot.
1. 2009 drove to Saskatchewan and back (3,600 kilometers, 2,237 miles)
2.2009 Drove throught western USA 18 States in 10 days (8,200ks,5,095m)
3.2010 Drove to Whitehorse Yukon almost Artic Circle, and back (5,300ks,3,293m)
4.2011 Started on Canada Day drove agross Canada and back, 15 days,(13,025ks,8,093m)
Had a ball on all trips and the only thing broken was one little side light. Not counting the three speeding tickets. (one on each big trip) Oh ya and the dam cup holder. We called the car Cassandra.

When I first saw it I was taken by it's arresting beauty of design. It's what I envisaged as a rugged sports car. I know they packed w/a seemingly endless supply or creature comforts which runs the risk of deminishing that stern character that I think all sports cars should have. But when I first saw it I was, like I easily assume most owners were, awed by it's intrinsic design wonder

I would very highly recommend driving these cars, as with all cars, sober and straight.

The main reason for choosing Crossfire is its comfortableness. Long rides are extremely comfortable in Crossfires. The seats are very plush and comfortable when comparing to other similar worth cars.

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING !!!!
I have to use a gel cushion from my office chair on any trip lasting more than one hour, or my legs hurt terribly and sometimes go numb. The gel cushion makes long trips possible.

But back to the thread topic : Because it's so dang pretty, and I too fell in love at first sight .....

We find the Crossfire extremely comfortable, otherwise we couldn't put the miles on we do. We are old and fat, so getting in and out is a bit more difficult than other cars. But then what sportscar isn't. We're 62-240 57-220, and still fit. Checked the manual and just us in it, exceeds the weight limits. lol.. she still goes fast as their still is plenty of horsepower.

The xf na = the weather. A droptop mgf is not good in the snow.
Xf na got sold in order to import the srt6 from USA. Question is not WHAT made me do it but WHO. The scepticism from our beloved 180 and myself being so damn persistent. I cannot take when someone says: put your money where your mouth is
Now I have one fit White srt6 coupe.

I can see why you do not need gel seats. I'm 71 and 180 and I've been a hard a$$ all my life. I need a gel seat.

A few years ago my wife and I were shopping around for a new "Congrats on Graduating Car" for her and it was just one argument after another. I like this one, I like this one better, that one is ugly, that one is to small, too big, bad gas mileage, cheap, expensive on and on. After about 5 months of arguing a black crossfire came up next to us and I said, "What is that?" My wife responded with, "It is beautiful!"

We chased it down in the MG and I took a photo of it. We headed over to my parents home, showed the photo to my father and asked him if he knew what it was. He told me that it was a Crossfire and didn't I remember him telling me a year ago that I should buy one. He had test drove one but was not happy with the fit (not enough leg or head room for him,) so he went with another car.

My wife and I started our hunt and 2 months later were the proud owners of what we like to call the best looking car in whatever parking lot we are in.

I have to agree with Emy. Maybe it has to do with what size and weight of the person. I've made 10 hour trips in it, and find it comfortable and enjoyable.

I had to buy a special pillow for my wife as her legs and butt go numb when it is anything over an hour drive. The same thing happens to my mother in the passenger seat of my dads ZO6. And my sister in her BF's NSX.

They think it has to do with their legs being so straight out in front of them for so long.
