Discovered my drivers side front SRT rim is BENT on the inside a bit throwing the balance off on my new tires after experiencing my first flat from a pothole in the road. The same night they closed the road for a "sinkhole" repair. Had they not labeled it a sinkhole, the city road department would have covered the loss. I suppose this carries over from the "Catastrophic ground Collapse vs. Sinkhole" controversy and the insurance companies once again. Theres a guy in Orlando says he can get the bend out. Wish me luck. It only wobbles bad over 90.lol

Cool Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?

Awesome day
It was +8C (that's 48 degrees for you guys in the lower +48) in Calgary today. No snow (well almost no snow)

Heated up the garage, popped the top down and pulled her out for a spin. Filled it with super cheap, Super Max Premium (96 Octane) at Petro Can. Nothing makes a crappy day better like a ride with the top down. Smiling the whole time

Its top down weather NO MATTTER WHAT TIME OF YEAR

$9k for a stock SRT6 Coupe w/31k miles.

I know they're not worth gold, but Edmunds and KBB show about 11k trade in value.

Be truthful, how much snow have you had so far this year? I see the weather reports here in the center of the Universe, and you had snow months ago.

I used to do that in my PT Turbo Convertible, maybe into the 40s, but definitely in the mid 50s. I still remember a co-worker curled up in the fetal position in the back seat with the wind and lack of front seat heat.

I did that in high school with my mom's Sunbird convert. MAN that was cold that morning, but I pulled into the parking lot top down and in style!!!

I haven't driven 90 since I found out that the new vibration was a dented wheel. I'll be attempting to have the dent removed next week. I thought it was an out of balance tire till I took the tires back to have them rebalanced and the guy showed me the slight dent on the inner side.
While I'm here, What did my Crossfire do to me today?...Bruised my hand when the failing hatch support struts decided not to support the hatch and allowed gravity to take control. Can you say..OUCH?

Changed out my supercharger pulley bearing and supercharger idler pulley two days ago.
Also the bolt that came out of the supercharger idler pulley was bent so had to order another one. If anyone wants to know the part#, which I looked high and low on here for it but couldn't find it,here it is.
Mercedes part# 910143-008019

Also thanks to the forum as always for all of the intuitive DIY and how to's.

Oh it's 70 degrees here in OKC, about to take a cruise around the lake. Have a great day everyone.

Hope it stays nice in OK through January, I'm going to the Chili Bowl in Tulsa. I was going to drive the Crossfire, but with possibility of weather screwing up the trip, I am going to fly to Vegas, meet my dad, and then both fly to Tulsa. I was there last year, my first time in OK, and I loved it. It seemed more like generic "American Heartland" than just about anywhere else I could think of.

Cussed at it. Something in line with the supercharger pulley/clutch assembly must have come apart and ripped through the plastic engine cover and ate through one of the aluminum pipes up front on the rescue srt on the way back from St. Augustine in a desolate part in the middle of the Ocala National Forest at night of course. Will assess today.....bummer...

Got up to near 70F today here in Upstate SC. So I uncovered the 2007 Coupe and took a drive. Haven't stopped grinning yet!

Weekend is suppose to be more of the same: SAT - 74F; SUN - 71F.

Later,

That is the SLK320 cover and the number should read A 112 090 05 01.
The air filter is the same as the one in the Crossfire OEM air box I believe.
Looks good.

I also have to agree that the SLK320 engine cover does add some class to the engine bay of the XFire. XFire engine cover is pretty basic. Difference between M-B & Chrysler; even when they were nearly one & the same.

Pulled it out of the garage so we could work on my wife's Cougar and put Christmas decoration boxes back up.

Did you mean MGP caliper covers? If not, curious if you could post link to GMB.
