Thanks to a heads-up from James1549, I attended a Cars & Coffee event at the M1 Concourse this morning sponsored by Car & Driver magazine, Hagerty Insurance and Champion spark plugs. M1 is a private race track in Pontiac, MI surrounded by approx 250 private garages. M1 Concourse
Due to the major sponsors, there were a ton of high-end vehicles with mfr plates including the latest Bimmers and a $186K Porsche 911R (see cover of this month's Road & Track mag). Also a lot of classics. Perfect Fall morning.

Can you zoom in to find my roadster in this pic? Anyone on the forum have the white Xfire in the middle?
Great shots harbor, looks like a cool place and event. I took mine to a local show in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. A judged show, with Top 75 awards. Didn't realize until awards time only about 15 of those were going to 2000 and newer vehicles. Still came away with one of those so I was pretty happy about that. I have to say though that for a point show some beautiful cars went home with nothing while total crap cars got awards. That kind of stuff happens all the time at participant choice shows but should never happen at a judged points show. I have been juggling four different vehicles at shows this year and this was the forth show for the Crossfire. With the win yesterday the Crossfire is 3 for 4 at this point.

XJ - Well done on the awards.
What type of CAI do you have on your Xfire?

Looks to me like he simply removed the OEM plastic tubes and added metal ones with filters on the ends. I hope he took out the filters from the air box

Replaced inner cooler pump, fixing the dreaded tranny leak, connector...may do that tomorrow. The new geared rear end is going in as we speak. But we are taking our time. Didn't need an alignment last time, hope to keep it that way. Re-installed a small 15 lbs battery back into ole' blue. Looking for other issues while I am under here. I have realized, this old body doesn't do well under a car anymore. Last mod for sure. So Rob, Rudy, Jim, Waldig, I don't care. I'm done...lol
Hi everyone, I hit something in the road that bent my radiator housing which caused my passenger side air bag to deploy breaking my front windshield, it pushed my radiator fan into the motor pulley and broke the transmission pan can this be fixed ? I really love this car don't want to part with it help.
Do you mean transmission pan or oil pan. If it's oil pan and crank pulley then it's should be no problem. Jimmie C has both an upper and a lower pan for sale (they are the same for NA and SRT). I can't see how it could be the trans pan. I'm guessing that if it's crank pulpy that caused the damage then it will be the uppernpan for sure. Have to pull the engine and trans for that. If you're going to do that it might be less expensive to purchase a replacement (used) engine. Got pics?
